Welding technology
We weld together what belongs together
Our welding technology leads to optimisation with respect to quality and economics.
- Advising on calculation and project preparation
- Advising and support during project execution
- Formulating and maintaining the qualifications of our employees
- Maintaining the necessary approvals
- Welding supervision and quality assurance on the jobsites and in our workshop
- Testing and introduction of new welding methods
We have welding procedure qualifications according to DIN EN ISO 15614-1 for all standard materials.
Welding procudure qualifications
- C-steel up to a strength of 485 N/mm², austenitic / austenitic-ferritic
materials, high-temperature steel
- We have qualified welders who are approved to DIN EN 287-1 for standard welding procedures, and according to
DIN EN 1418 for mechanised and automatic welding.
- We weld all dimensions, wall thicknesses and standard welding procedures.
Overview of welding procedures
Orbital welding
TIG-orbital welding (partial weld)
of piping with internal tensioning device and cooling system
- Materials: austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steel,
Bubi-pipes (Duplex-Inliner, Close-fit, in C-steel-piping)
- Visual inspection of root with camera integrated into tensioning device
- Cooling of weld in case of critical interpass temperatures
- Up to dimensions of DN 250 x 4.5 mm without welding consumables,
DN 250 x 9.0 mm including welding consumables, Bubi-pipes up to dimensions of
DN 200 x 14.0 mm (3.0 mm inliner material)

MAG-STT Welding
Welding of piping with MAG-STT (Soft-Tension-Transfer) welding procedure
- Welding of root pass with solid wire and pulse technology,
filler and top bead with flux-cored metal-arc welding
- Materials up to a strength of 460 N/mm², dimensions from DN 200
to DN 750, wall thicknesses from 10.0 - 35.0 mm
- High quality welds controlled by steady heat input
Partial mechanical welding of large pipes
Welding pipelines with the combined process of downwards electrode welding for root/hot-pass and MAG (fill wire)
for filling and cover passes using partially mechanical pipeline welding equipment.
- Materials: Ferritic metals including thermo-mechanically
treated fine-grain structural steel
- Pipe dimensions: 16" (406.4 mm) to 64" (1625.6 mm)
- May be done in workshop or construction site production
Stainless steel welding / Landau
Double-walled lining of an oil tank with leakage detection system
